Have you heard me talk about spirulina and wheatgrass before? I’m a big fan of both as part of my vegan and sugar free recipes. During my treatment days my parents, my in-laws, and myself all used to grow wheatgrass so that I could freshly juice it every morning for my introduction to vegan and sugar free recipes. It is a potent detoxifier and boosts immune function. Spirulina is a naturally occurring fresh water algae. Argued to be the most nutrient dense food in the world. It helps to detox the body, eliminate candida, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, boost energy and weight loss, and offers neuroprotection.

This juice is
- very nutrient dense and contains vitamins A, C, D, E, K, protein and minerals such as calcium and magnesium.
- best on an empty stomach, such as first thing in the morning.
What you will need:
½ tsp green powder (e.g. super greens / spirulina / wheatgrass).
What to do:
Juice the carrots and add green powder before blending with ice.
